WHAT ARE POLYPIUS ?- Polypius is a private species created by Nahldriin.- Unfolding through a lore written by Nahldriin, this species aims to be shared so that people can enter this universe.- Polypius are an aquatic species, unable to live without seawater nearby.- Only Nahldriin can create Polypius. These are available during adoptions, with mystery eggs for example.

TRAITS OF THE SPECIES- Polypius are an aquatic species inspired by the octopus living in oceanic marine environments. They need seawater to survive. This species is divided into 2 main breeds.- SURFACE POLYPIUS :- As surface polypius have no gills, they can alternate between aquatic and terrestrial life, which has repercussions on their lifestyle. They have two cities, Camiria and Domenkis (You can find more informations about their cities within the Nahldriin's worlds Discord server !).- What are the features of surface polypius ?- Their second pair of eyes is above the first.
- They have no gills, but can remain underwater for up to 48 hours before catching their breath.
- Their skin color is warm and colorful.
- Some can blend into the coral to make themselves more discreet when hunting.
- Their eggs hatch thanks to the warmth of a gentle current flowing directly through Domenkis.
- Deity (deities are clan leaders) : Aven, goddess of the surface.ABYSSAL POLYPIUS :- Abyssal polypius have gills because they spend much more time underwater. In fact, abyssal polypius have much clearer, crystalline skin. They are much more sensitive to light, so their life is mainly aquatic. They rarely come to the surface, but they may do so, for example, to visit the great market of Domenkis. They have a city in the depths named Atrellos (You can find more informations about this citie within the Polypius Discord server !)- What are the characteristics of abyssal polypius ?- Their second pair of eyes is below the first.
- They have gills.
- They have sharper teeth.
- Their skin colors are usualy cold, and sometimes even dark.
- Their eggs hatch thanks to the soft light emitted by the crystals surrounding the Atrellos nursery.
- Deity: Neera, god of the abyss.

THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF POLYPIUS- There is 3 type of Polypius :- Soul (common): This is the main population of polypius. They do all sorts of things, and can do any kind of job. Polypius can become whatever they want, they're a very free people.- Guardian (rare): Guardians are a rare breed, mainly responsible for hunting and city surveillance. Their frontal horn gives them a significant advantage in combat. They tend to be adventurous and energetic !- Deity (mythical): Every polypius people has a deity. Deity eggs are extremely rare, with 1 being born every 1,000 years. When a deity appears, she takes charge of her people. She ensures that things run smoothly, that there is peace between the clans, and that all polypius are treated fairly. Very rarely are there “anomalies”, deity eggs born for no good reason. These small deities then join the current reigning deity as a secondary deity and spiritual advisor. They only have a lifespan of 500 years.- Slide to see the trait of each type :

How to get a Polypius ?

BY ADOPTING ONE :- Polypius are available has mystery eggs or simple adopts...They are often made by Nahldriin. There will maybe have some events with other artistes one day, but not for now !- A bid systeme is mainly used to sell them !- To catch your Polypius, check Nahldriin's socials to check each batch drop ! For now, Polypius are sold on Instagram (@nahldriin) and on the Nahldriin's worlds Discord server ( You can find the link on the home page) !- Here are some exemples of what adopts can look like :

BY GETTING A CUSTOM ONE :- Custom slots open now and then ! So if you want a slot, you need to check my socials to not miss your chance.- For now, I only do Soul and Guardian customs and I'm not sure if I will do deity customs.- A custom Soul slot is 35€ and a custom Guardian slot is 45€ !- To order a custom, you can give me written informations and inspirations. But it's always better if I have more visual infos such has a Moodboard or a color palet I can work on !- Here are some exemple of custom Polypius I've done :

REMINDERPolypius is a private species created by Nahldriin, only Nahldriin can create Polypius. These are available during adoptions, with mystery eggs for example.WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY POLYPIUS ?Once adopted, your polypius belongs to you. You can modify it slightly as long as the basic design is recognizable, but I ask you to go through Nahldriin to validate any changes.However, when modifying your polypius, please respect the traits of the species ! For example, a polypius can't have wings, horns (unless it's a guardian horn) or a different tail (wolf or demon, for example).If your polypius is a soul, it cannot change category once obtained. Your soul cannot become a guardian or a deity, and vice versa.You must respect the physical traits of the different types of polypius (visible in the Polypius species page). For example, if your polypius is a soul, you can't add a second pair of dorsal tentacles like guardians - the soul must remain a soul after all !Your polypius can be included in your personal worlds and stories, as long as the territorial requirements of the species (seawater) and its type (surface or abyss) are respected.If you share your stories on social networks, please specify your character's species of origin and creator.!!! Please don't create merch related to my species !!!I'M NO LONGER ATTACHED TO MY POLYPIUS, WHAT CAN I DO ?If you wish to part with your polypius, you can : give it away, sell it or exchange it.In the case of a donation, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can change the owner's name on the adoption certificate ! This allows me to keep track of the owners. The new owner will be given access to the server if they are not already on it, so that they can consult the various rules governing the species and the lore (more on the server than here !).In the case of a sale, please do not sell your polypius for more than you paid for it ! The only exception is if your polypius possesses several arts that you sell with the character. In this case, please contact me so that I can validate your price quote. Since polypius are an affordable species (especially souls and guardians), I don't want to see sales that reach prices that are far too high without justification !
Finally, please contact me quickly so that I can change the owner's name on the adoption certificate ! This allows me to keep track of the owners.In the case of an exchange, polypius can be exchanged regardless of their type (a soul for a guardian, for example). Exchanges must be fair BUT must not include a financial request unless both parties agree. If you feel that an addition must be made to make the exchange fair, please favor art additions in the case of an exchange rather than asking for money (a soul + a headshot against a guardian for example, guardians being rarer). WHAT I NEED TO WORKFirst I need an email to send the finished art to.For the payment method, I only take paypal.References :1 - Refsheets or several art of your character. As I don't support generative AI, please do not send me AI generated references.2 - Description of your character. If it's an oc, I need to have some details of them (some personality traits for exemple) so I know what to do with the expression and dynamic.3 - If you have poses idea or visual references, send them to me. I can work with a description but it's always better for me to have something visual !4 - The attire (if there is one) must be precise. If you didn't send it with the character reference, please have images of clothing, jewelry, hair style etc...That you'd like the subject to wear or have.

Edits :1 - During all the creation process, I will always send each important steps (Sketch -> Lineart -> Flatcolor -> Shading -> Final art), don't hesitate to ask for changes, especially during the early stages !2 - Changes are free, however, they are up to my discretion if they are possible (for exemple, I won't do a complete new pose if I allready finihed the lineard and the sketch has been validated before).3 - Feel free to ask for edits and I will let you know if they are possible or accommodable !Process :I don't have a specific production time.
